A vision for a welcoming mosque and community center in Wayne.

Thank you for taking a moment to learn more about our pending project in Wayne Township. IPRAY House is exploring the possibility of establishing a mosque and community center at 225 Colfax Road, a peaceful property purchased in 2024 through community support.

We have applied to the Township to use the site as a place of worship and community gathering, and the project is currently moving through the formal review and approval process. We continue to work closely with Township staff and professionals at every stage.

Our Vision for the Site

We aim to create a thoughtfully designed center that is welcoming, respectful of its surroundings, and supportive of community life. We hope the project will contribute positively to Wayne by encouraging meaningful connections, cross-cultural understanding, and neighborly support.

What We Are Proposing

IPRAY House is seeking approval to use the property as a mosque and community center for local families.
The concept includes:

• A prayer space for daily and weekly worship
• Areas for learning and community use
• Spaces for youth and family activities
• Cross-cultural and community-building programs

The intention is not to build a large or imposing facility, but a carefully planned center that fits the character of the site and neighborhood.

Our Planning Approach

Respect for the Neighborhood: Ensuring compatibility with surrounding residential character and the existing religious use next door.

Transparency and Collaboration: Providing all required documents and studies as part of the Township’s review process.

Environmental Stewardship: Addressing wetlands, drainage, landscaping, and tree management responsibly and in accordance with state and local regulations.

Community Benefit: Creating a gathering space that contributes positively to Wayne’s social, educational, and cultural life.

Current Status

Fall 2025 – Application submitted to the Zoning Board

Current – Completeness review underway; technical documents being prepared

2026 – Public hearings to be scheduled once the application is deemed complete
